# Philips Fidelio AS111 Replacement Support and USB-C Upgrade # ### About The Philips AS111 Dock has fantastic sound but it was designed with micro-USB in mind so is showing its age now. Mine is in fantastic condition and I wanted to re-use it with my Pixel USB-C phone, so this little Tinkercad collection was created to add USB-C via an adaptor and to hide it, whilst providing better phone support at the back with a longer sleeve. Additionally my original large phone support for the holder had cracked, so I've also included a basic replacement part (if you're happy with just Micro-USB you don't need the other files). These are not perfect and required a lot of trial and error but I've left that open for remixes, I'm happy with my results. The upgrade (not the replacement part) requires a "Moko" Micro USB to USB-C adaptor which I had handy, but seem to be out of production. It may fit other small cheap adaptors, but I know at least the Anker brand does not seem to fit (at least without a Dremel). ### The four parts: 1. philips-as111-support-replacement-support.stl - a replacement piece for the original small to large phone adaptor support which was prone to get lost/break. 2. philips-as111-support-usb-c.stl - an upgraded support piece intended to take (hide) a Moko or similar sized Micro-USB to USB-C adaptor on top of the original Micro USB connector. 3. philips-as111-support-usb-c-android.stl - same as 2 but with the fashionable Android robot (see attribution bottom). 4. philips-as111-support-usb-c-sleeve.stl - replacement sleeve for the backrest to increase the height to support phones sitting on the USB-C support part 2 or 3. Note to fit this you will need to remove the rubber padding at the top of the original clear support. The padding just pushes out (see photo). **All parts have a slight angle near the base - make sure you place them on the Fidelio with the angle orientated the correct way to the base or it may catch/not be movable.** #### Android Robot License (Part 3 only) The Android robot is reproduced or modified from work created and shared by Google and used according to terms described in the Creative Commons 3.0 Attribution License.
