**Thank you for every tip or donation, it means great recognition for me and helps a lot to keep going!** The Philips Hue motion sensor is a great thing, but I wanted to exclude a portion of the area from detection. This is done via two parts: the HueSensorCoverBase which is simply clicked over the sensor, and an individually designed cover or finger (HueSensor10mm or HueSensorTrapezoid as examples) to eliminate areas from the detection. The cover is clicked over two small holes and fixed after successful testing with a drop of superglue. To make your own cover, just print one of the examples (takes only 10min) and then design yours with the following measures: Distance of the bolts: 12mm (0.47"), bolt diameter: 2.4mm (0.095"). The other piece (HueSensorStripBase) is a simple piece to mount the sensor with a PowerStrip instead a Screw. Use a common M4 countersunk screw with 12mm length (0.47") to drive directly into the plastic. See pictures. Enjoy!
