Phillips Hue Play Bar Modular Mount

Phillips Hue Play Bar Modular Mount

I needed a good way to position Phillips Hue Play light bars which allowed modular adjustment for ideal placement. Designed with Sim racing in mind but can be used for a number of different applications. This kit works perfectly for mounting Phillips Hue Play bars to 40 series or equivalent aluminum profile (also commonly referred to as 8020 profile) using M6 hardware. I have also made an optional base bracket that will allow the use of strong double-sided tape such as clear gorilla tape to adhere the mount to a flat surface. As shown in the image, the mount is attached to the t-slot channels on a 40 series aluminum profile triple monitor stand by Sim Lab. The base mounting bracket allows for multiple angles and the go-pro style hinged M6 arms allow for multiple points of modular adjustment. Find the position you want and lock it down with the M6 screws. Various arm lengths are available for a number of applications but for my use case, I'm using the longer 2 arms for mounting over the top of side monitors on the triple monitor setup and the shorter arms for hanging over a 4th monitor stand. Check your measurements and choose accordingly. Hardware Required: M6x22mm screws M6 Nuts M3x 8-12mm for mounting the play bar (the screws that come with the play bar are compatible) M6 T-Nuts for mounting to aluminum profile
