My 3D design is a desk organizer, built to store one's phone alongside other stationery supplies. This stationery holder has a unique hexagonal shape and a detachable storage compartment on the bottom. The main cavity can hold pencils or even a phone, meanwhile, the bottom compartment is meant for smaller objects like sticky notes and paperclips. The purpose of its design is to free up desk space by keeping everything neatly organized, making it easier for students to complete work at home. 1. An issue that came up during the design process was trying to come up with a unique design while still fitting in with the build prompt. 2. If I could redesign this again I would possibly base the design off of a different shape or included more details/features. 3. 3D printing helped strengthen my design by making the build process much quicker and more efficient. Tinkercad also allowed for easily made adjustments.
