THIS REQUIRES ASSEMBLY This should greatly decrease the likelihood that your camera lens will be smudged when you go to take a picture. It does not add any increase or decrease in the amount of time that it takes to be ready to snap a photo, you can use your thumb to quickly open it in the same motion as pulling out your phone. I use double-sided adhesive (cut with an X-Acto knife) to position it on the phone once the parts are carefully glued together making sure that the slider is not glued as well. *Only* install this after you have already installed a shatter-protection screen. Otherwise you would be gluing directly to your touchscreen. I use a little superglue as evenly as possible around the outside edges to further secure the protector to the phone's shatter-protection screen. It does not look bad once secured, and from a little distance it really looks fine. You will need to double-check the measurements to make sure that it will not cover up the flash or sensors. Positioning the front protector has to be quite exact, and if you can get away with printing it slightly scaled down on the Z axis, then you should do that. This is a work in progress. I'm offering it for download for anyone who would like to try it. I would like to sell them at some point, but the design is not ready. The gluing part is tedious and it would be good if the parts can slide or snap in place -- however, it works fine using friction-only as is the case now. Would love to know if you modify this design in that way.
