Phone charging mini shelf

Phone charging mini shelf

I don't have space for a bedside table in my bedroom, and I'd prefer to not leave the phone on the floor while charging overnight. So here is a small shelf that is supported by the charger plugged in the wall socket. Should be obvious that it's only meant to hold a lightweight mobile phone, not a tablet or anything that's over +-200gr! And different wall sockets may not fit well. I have made the main body 45mm wide and about 3mm thin, trying to not interfere with the socket switch(s). There's thin reinforcements to strengthen the structure but not interfering with the charging cable, although I've left good clearance between the plug pins and the shelf, you may want to use a "right angle" USB cable. The top shelf is 70mm wide and 40mm deep. You are not meant to remove it by pulling on it directly. Remove the charge first, and the shelf will come off right away, I've given a good tolerance to the holes for the plug pins.
