Phone Holder DIY - Polypanels

myminifactory

This is my entry to the Polypanels competition: https://www.myminifactory.com/competition/polypanels-competition-173 Watch instruction video here: https://youtu.be/Qlk28JUbSmQ I decided to use the Polypanel system to build a phone holder/standard. There are three different polypanels used here. The 'Device Specialty Panel' is the main polypanel where others can be attached to: another specialty panel what acts as a hook andthree slightly remixed squares that act as a support for the 'Device Specialty Panel'. You can slide your phone or tablet into the 'Device Specialty Panel' and together with thetwo clips, you can hang it on your car mirror to navigate for example. Use the snaps on the outer sides for this. The snaps in the middle are there for making the 'Device Specialty Panel' a standard for your device.Connect three squares to it, slide your device in it and watch a video while your device is standing on a table or something. I managed to clamp it to my car interior with only two squares attached to the middle of the 'Device Specialty Panel'. This 'Device Specialty Panel' is designed for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. You can alter it to any other size with FreeCAD: alter the rectangle size and changethe position of the snaps with it. The Polypanel snaps are seperate parts. Or maybe you can find another way to alter it. Product usage is for your own risk. The complete set consists of the following parts: - 1 Device Specialty Panel (=main specialty panel)- 2 Clips (=specialty panel as well)- 3 Squares (=slight remix of the original square)
