Phone holder, Mag Mount Stabilizer

Phone holder, Mag Mount Stabilizer

My first creation in Fusion 360 and printed. This is to help stabilize my cell phone on a magnetic mount in my truck. I've tried the clamp-on style phone holders but they've always either failed or just gotten in the way of my buttons. I really like the ease of the mag mount---but I drive a lot of county roads with washboards and off-road--and eventually, the phone will shake off of the mount. I've fought this issue (phone shaking off of the mount) for years, and originally solved it using Instamorph plastic. I'd fashioned some legs, reinforced by wire, and it did the job relatively well. After all, I was just looking for some stability. But, in the summer, that plastic would melt off of the mount if it got too hot inside the vehicle--or at the least deform (hence why I reinforced it with wire.) Enter the 3D printer (FFCP)! I've only owned one now for a month, and am trying to teach myself some CAD. I settled on Fusion 360, watched a lot of tutorials, and came up with this. So far. New iterations will evolve. _______ The hole is 22mm for the mag mount, and the width/length where the phone sits is 88 X 17mm. Specifically, it's meant to fit my Galaxy S10 with an Otterbox Defender case. The likelihood this will match too many peoples' scenario is slim, but here it is in all it's glory.... I should probably mention this, too. In order to use the Galaxy S10's wireless charging capabilities, the metal plate that must be attached to the phone's back must be placed very low (or high if you so choose.) This is why the distance between the base of the holder and the magnet is relatively short, and why the need for some kind of stabilization.
