Phone Holder using toothpick

Phone Holder using toothpick

thingiverse

Summary: I made this project for my own use, modifying the https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2120591 project to reduce the material consumption as much as possible, so I had the idea of cutting almost everything and making holes to insert toothpicks and join the two sides. And as it was designed to be printed parallel to the surface of the printing table, due to the layers being perpendicular to the effort that the support needs to support the weight of the cell phone, this considerably increases resistance, making this support very strong! The photos show the support with a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (which is a very big cell phone), but it works for other models as well. After I made one, my friends came to visit me, they liked the support and asked me to print it for them, and, as it is a quick print, each one took theirs home. I found the project very interesting and it even has a certain charm because it mixed black ABS (or the material and color of your choice) with the wood of the toothpick. To assemble yours after printing, just insert the sticks into the holes to join the pieces and cut the remaining wood with a knife or stiletto. Wish you have a good 3D printing! Print settings: Infill 100%
