Phone Post-IT Note Stand

The purpose of this design is to allow students to, in the case of not having a computer at home, to use their phone to attend virtual school meets during the school week and still be able to take notes. This design is able to hold a phone upright against its back wall, and there is a section in the bottom platform to put a single set of Post-IT notes and also 3 cylindrical, hollowed out extrusions that allow for pen or pencil placement. With these resources combined, a student can effectively take notes while attending a class virtually with their phone. Some issues that I came up against was the fact that my original design was very big and very wide, having dimensions of 8in by 9in by 8in. This was of course, very big, and took up the majority of space a 3D printer offered. After seeing the time to print would be 62 hours, I had to shorten and lessen the size of the entire project to 5in by 7in by 5in. If I could redesign this project again, I would probably find a way to attach the phone stand to the back wall of the project, instead of having an extrusion coming up from the bottom platform. I would also thicken the bottom platform a little more so as to have the cylinders go into the platform instead of floating a bit above it. 3D printing would strengthen my design by actually filling in the parts of the cylinders that are floating above the bottom platform, as I wasn't able to put them completely in the bottom platform without them cutting through the bottom.
