I didn't like the detail on the anycubic RERF that came with the mono x. I have seen a few using the amerilabs town but the ones for mono x had issues in the models that I couldn't see around. I set this up to be simple to use and read. default exposure is 0.8 and each model going up from here adds 0.4 seconds to the exposure at the default it goes like this 1 0.8 2 1.2 3 1.6 4 2.0 5 2.4 6 2.8 7 3.2 8 3.6 if you happen to have resins that need longer exposure you would utilize the time its doing the bottom layers to go into the settings on your mono x and change the normal exposure(which hereafter will be referred to as N) with this you get 1 N 2 N+ 0.4 3 N+ 0.8 4 N+ 1.2 5 N+ 1.6 6 N+ 2.0 7 N+ 2.4 8 N+ 2.8 this way you can quickly plug it in and calculate the different exposures. I like to Baggie them all up for each RERF and label them on the bottom as to what it is. This way i can use a minimum of 16ml of any new resin and get a guess at what would be the best exposure for the resin this is all done with 40 sec bottom (adjust higher for non clear resin) 50 micron layer height 50% power for clear resin 80% for non clear Currently Only works on Anycubic Photon Mono X Please by all means comment and help me improve on this as i plan to make myself way more active now that im learning more and more about 3d printers and want to help others. I struggled with the idea of wasting resin but if a 16 ml print helps you decide where to set your exposure you have 984 ml left to print with. I thought i had used alot of my first liter and then when i poured my vat out i found i only used 400ml. Think of a test l like this as a means to never have to do another test like this. side note. im hoping to design a stand for all the ideal rerf towns so i can easily use them as samples for clients and will upload that as well files included are: RERF test(do not change the name or it wont work, the mono x sees that file name and knows it has to do multiple exposure per image layer) stl for the rerf incase you want to edit it in any way
