Here's a project I worked on recently that brings a couple simple components together to create a very cool stand-alone webcam. The LCD used is the Adafruit PI-OLED: https://www.adafruit.com/product/3527 I wrote some python code to run an MJPG HTTP server and interact with the PI-OLED.
