Piano Buttons

Piano Buttons

thingiverse

This design is a row of 4 piano buttons for use with the Xbox Adaptive Controller (XAC). The part is made up of 3 seperate components: the base of the box, the rod cap, and the piano tiles you press. These components are available for download as stl and SolidWorks files. The part required a 5mm x 230mm (0.2in x 9in) wooden dowel. On the inside of the part, there are 4 square slots to hold keyboard switches. We used Green Cherry MX Keyswitches (https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_list&c=48) so those will fit best into the square slot. We solder the buttons to a 3.5mm aux cable.
