Landstown High School Governor’s STEM and Technology AcademyAdvising Instructor- Jennifer RenneAny serious guitarist knows the struggle of dropping a pick in the middle of a song and having to stop the rhythm to pick it up. This invention is designed to eliminate that problem in an easy and convenient way without adding any additional weight or issue that would keep a player from playing at his best. The Guitar Pick dispenser is comprised of four separate right angled pieces that interlock with one another to fit around the bridge of a guitar. The pieces are held together with three separate pegs that fit into the holes, making the dispenser adjustable. This design has a spot for you to put a few picks just in case gravity gets the best of you and the guitar pick falls to the floor. This design works best for electric guitars, but it can also be practical for acoustic guitars. It’s designed to fit snugly over the bridge of any guitar, with a small slot to hold a few standard sized picks. The slot is mostly an open space, allowing easy dispersal of the picks without having to stop playing the guitar entirely. This would be a very useful tool for any guitarist who plays regularly and the guitar pick dispenser is also inexpensive and easy to use.
