This is a mod for the Pico Neo 3 Link VR headset. With this mod you can use the headset without the face gasket, like with the Quest Pro. It looks very simple, but has all the features I wanted to have, without being bulky. -It will rest on your forehead and leaves the face free for ventilation, aso. -You can turn up the front headset a bit to see the keyboard. -It enables you to exactly adjust the position, pitch and angle of the headset in front of your face. -You can put your eyes as close to the lenses, as you like -Try out a new way to wear your PN3L if you are a bit bored. The disadvantages are: less stability for fast turns and severe light leaking. Because the PN3L is so bright, it is imho bearable for many usecases, except of dark game environments. In theory you can wear this without a padding on the forehead, but I would suggest using a thin layer of foam or other soft materials. Use double sided tape to attach it. There is a version with special hinges for using the Vive Delux Audio Strap headphones. This is a great add-on, but unfortunately you have to extend the center cable for using it. There is an alternative right side hinge with a guide for the Cable. Only print two of the "plain" hinges if you don't have those headphones. There is an additional strap buckle to use it with a top strap. It will fit for a two centimeters wide velcro strap. A top strap will add additional comfort and stability. Print two of them if you want to use a DIY top strap. Highly recommended. There is a thumb-screw with a cap. The M5 nut will fits in there. Print two of them. There is a forehead part ("Visor") with a funny "Nervegear" text. Use the version with no text if you are no SAO fan. You only have to print one of them. I strongly suggest adding a counterweight to the back of the headset! This will bring a lot more balance and comfort. For me it is the weight of 6 or 8 batteries. Maybe please have a look at my other files for my own version of a counterweight. Printing: You will need no supports, except for the delux audio strap hinges. Print with 4 walls for more stability on the weak parts. PLA is totally fine. Post-Printing: -You will need two standard ~20mm long M5 screws with hexagonal heads, plus two M5 nuts. Add two optional washers between the thumbscrew and the hinge. Clean the printed parts as usual and cut down things like elephant foots and raw edges on the hinges. Don't cut your fingers.
