Carved in 2003. Modelled in 2014. I carved this Pictish horseman whist on location for a field project in Dunnet, Caithness. The design is based on a Class II Pictish symbol stone from Meigle, near where I grew up. This lives in our garden and is one of the few pieces I have carved that weren’t a gift for a specific person.
