My initial picture frame design was smooth on top. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5978312 But I wanted to create a fancier frame, so using the FreeCad design tool. I was able to learn how to make a shape bend around a curve- to create a frame with a more shapely top and edge. This time I made round pegs to connect the frame sections together. So using combinations of the pieces one can make a frame to just about any 1 inch dimension. Corner pieces - 1x1 in; 3x3 in; 6x6i n; 3Lx6R in and 3Rx6L in Extension pieces - 1 in; 3 in; 6 in; 9 in and 12 in parts Pegs - mine required 16 pegs Accent pieces - My 18 in x 24 in frame requires 8 accent pieces; Different sized frames will require 1 accent piece for each joining of parts Glue not required. But for extra hold on the pegs one can use some glue when you put them together. But I would recommend trying it without the glue first.
