The piece of cheese can be used as a key chain, or just to keep around. It is designed and modeled in inventor and produced using the makerbot. I decided to use yellow as my color of choice, in order for the cheese's slice to have the same characteristics as real cheese. This way the cheese slice will look real! I was inspired by my cousin to make this cheese because it is her favorite food. Even though it will be a gift, I was contemplating on keeping it for myself. I thought that it was silly to make a plastic cheese, but it turned out to be a big hit. Instructions Create two lines, forming at one point of any degree using the line tool. Next, make a circle and make sure the diameter is alined with the points vertex. Once the lines are joined, use the trim tool to trim away the rest of circle which is not going to be apart of the cheese slice. Then extrude the cheese outline to whatever depth you feel comfortable with and desire. Next, get creative and extrude whereever you want your cheese holes to be on your cheese slice. (make sure to extrude on all sides of the cheese for the most realistic look) Afterwards, Refocus the view in the left lower corner front view in order to see the cheese slice upright. Send code to the maker bot and also changed the units to inches. (generate g-code) Place the cheese on the plateform. Chose colored plastic Wait til cheese slice has cooled Now you have your Cheese Slice!
