Piggyback camera or Counterweight for Telescope

This adapter is made to mount on a Criterion 4000 telescope, but it should fit most telescopes with a tube about 4½” diameter. The mount can be used to mount a camera piggyback on the tube or with the Arca mount on the bottom, it can be used to add a counterweight to balance heavier cameras mounted with a T-adapter. For printing, parts should be positioned as shown in the YouTube video at: https://youtu.be/rKydvepyRSo The knobs and hinge pin probably need to have rafts, since their bases are fairly small. I typically use a skirt on all other parts. If positioned as suggested, only the ring structure would need support. Several parts have printed threads. The screws needed for assembly are: Arca knob screw – 6-32x1½" flat head (top to tip) Hinge pin threaded rod – 6-32x1½” (I just cut threads from longer screw rather than get a rod) The rod should be glued into the hinge pin or final assembly. Be sure to insert the pin into position before gluing the rod. (I have come close to gluing before inserting the pin.) Cub Screw – 10-24x2” Pan head Arca base mount screw – ¼-20x7/8” I have tried to provide a bit of clearance for the threads; however, if they are too tight when you print, just run the proper tap in to loosen the hole. My printer makes the threads just fine. If you print the hinge pin first and test the threads, you will have a good idea if the threads will fit.
