A c.1330 door beside St. Michael’s chapel in St. Mary’s church, Beverley, East Yorkshire. The famous “Pilgrim Hare” carving at the top right of the frame is said to have inspired Lewis Carrol to create the White Rabbit for Alice in Wonderland.
