This pill case has been designed for regular users of medicines (specifically for HIV-positive patients) who need to have an accurate idea of whether or not they have taken the medicine on a given day.

To indicate the day of the week, I chose numbers 1 to 7 instead of letters, due to their independence from a particular language.

The holder inside the case also prevents rattling noises when carried filled case in a backpack and prevents accidental spillage and deterioration of expensive drugs.

If you print the Cover part in transparent PET-G, you will see the state of your daily pill intake without need of opening the case.

Pill Case Usage

The holder has two columns (left and right side of the holder) and can be used in two ways:

Application 1 (pill a day):
If you take one pill a day, you have a supply of medication for two weeks. While you are taking medication from one column until it is empty, and once you start the other column, you have a whole week to refill your completely emptied previous column with new medication. This way you alternate columns and you have enough time to refill an empty column. To avoid losing track, never take medication from both sides within one week.

Application 2 (two pills a day):
If you take one pill in the morning and the other in the afternoon, you have a supply of medication for one week. For a given day, you take the morning pill in the left column and the afternoon pill in the right column. You regularly replenish your medication every Sunday (day 7).

Print instructions

Pill Case Cover - print with transparent PET-G to see through the state of your medicine without need to open the case.

Pill Case Insert - this part needs to be printed with two colours to let the numbers stand out. I recommend start with dark color (e.g. black) and last few layers finish with contrast bright one (e.g. same colour like you use for the base).

Pill Case Base - print the base in vibrant color so you can easily find the case at the bottom of your dark backpack.

Dimensions

Maximum pill dimensions in holder
Maximum dimensions of the pill that the holder can hold is
thickness 6 mm, length 17 mm, width 8.5 mm
Ideal pill shape type for the holder is capsule-shape pill (see visualization).

Case overall dimensions
width 50 mm, length 89 mm, height 13.6 mm

In conclusion

If you need different size or number of pills, I believe you can easily modify the model of all parts and adapt it to your needs.

A feedback, comment or like is always welcome!

Share with me how this product helps you, how you use it or why you like it or not.
What is your story with this product?
