Pillars

Pillars

Just a simple pillar. A friend wanted a support printed for something in his computer, and I figured it was a good time to learn something about modeling instead of just printing, so we used this instead. There are two models. The smaller one is on piece, and the larger one is split into two with a peg and hole connector since it is likely to be larger than a lot of beds. Print Settings Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 10% Notes: If you print with it standing up, the larger one won't have any issues without supports. The infill is just there as a support to close the top. The smaller piece might have some issues without supports because of the overhang on the top flat piece. I was able to print one just fine, although it was a little droopy. If you rotate 90 degrees and print it horizontally, it will print well, but it doesn't look as sharp.
