Pillars of the IDSA

Pillars of the IDSA

grabcad

This is my first design for the IDSA challenge. It incorporates a pyramid like structure with this years theme supporting the IDSA, similarly to how the tenants of this theme support any work of industrial design. The design is made to be printed on a Makerbot printer. The colors should align with True Black and True White, and it can be printed by switching out the filament while printing. This design should be easy to print, possibly allowing some attendees to the conference to print their own in advance and thus making use of the ability of 3D printed parts to be distributed digitally. It attaches via a 3 inch straight pin for one iteration and via a slide on clip for a second design iteration.
