Pillbug Choice Chamber for Biology Education

This is a choice chamber for use in pillbug choice experiments that are common in biology classes such as AP biology. Each chamber is given a different condition (wet vs. dry, dark vs. light) and the location of the pillbugs is tracked over time to measure the animal's preference. The two chambers are marked A and B for reference. It is advisable to print the choice chamber at a size that will fit the type of filter paper you are using to line the chambers. Version 2 has some extra material trimmed off the baseplate, and deeper wells for the pillbugs.
