# Pimp My Printer This is an upgrade project for psu of Ender 3 Pro. Now includes more leds miscs. **Your printer not have to be ugly anymore.** <hr> # WARNING! **This project requires a certain level of electronics skills.** Anything you do wrong can permanently damage your printer. Before installing, it is recommended that you test the upgrade by removing the cable from the power supply to the motherboard. All at your own risk. <hr> ### Presentation My goal of doing this project was to quiet the already overly loud power supply fan and give my printer a nicer look if possible. However, with the ideas I received from my friends at the beginning of the project, the result turned into something I never expected. I designed the project for a 120mm fan due to the lack of an 80mm RGB fan and accessing 80mm silent fans is expensive and difficult in some countries. My printer looked fascinating at the end of the project. After deciding what and how to do it after the whole planning phase, I designed the model. And here is the result. RGB feature can be controlled by wireless network. A silencing upgrade with 120mm fan compatible, powered by the printer's power supply. ### Explanation - The upgrade basically consists of two parts. Power supply part and other parts. - The rgb controller or rgb parts have no connection with the motherboard of the printer. All on the power supply. - The rgb controller connects to the surrounding wi-fi network and is controlled by a specific ip. - Arduino IDE program is used for software upload. - Clone products were used in the project, the models were designed accordingly. - I'll add a how-to file inside the files.
