Pinard Horn

Pinard Horn

thingiverse

There is another Pinard horn on Thingiverse, but it's small and not designed to print well, so I made my own. This one is more realistically sized and designed to be printed in thin-wall vase mode with a wall thickness of 0.8mm and 0.6mm bottom thickness. This makes a good souvenir gift for your aunt who is a midwife, FYI. Instructions Print in thin-wall vase mode with extrusion thickness of 0.8mm and bottom thickness of 0.6mm (three layers at 0.2mm layer height, for instance). You'll have to use a knife to trim out the floor in the bottom inside of the tube, but it's pretty easy to do. Also don't forget to make sure you smooth out any jaggies on the trumpet end so that you don't poke or scratch someone's belly. I covered the flat end of mine with a felt ring so that it's more comfortable against your ear.
