No Cubscouts were harmed in the making of this project (yet). These are actual Cubscouts scanned in using a Xbox 360 Kinect (Gamestop, $25 used) and the free edition of Scanect (http://skanect.occipital.com/). They are not perfect, but the cubscout motto is: "Do your best!" They should be manifold, and printable with support. The low poly-count is due to the 5000 poly limit on the free software. The biggest challenge I had was getting a cubscout to hold still for 45 seconds. Need a car? Check out http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:735561/ Instructions I used rafting to keep the steering wheel from breaking off during printing. You also need use support for some of the arms. I find a heated X-acto blade works well for cutting support free without breaking off arms and such. We painted them with cheap hobby-store acrylics.
