I've just started doing Neopixel projects and saw [Bitluni's video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WlkMbNnIECM). I knew I had to build one. I downloaded the STL files and went to print them, but saw the hole to mount the power jack wouldn't accomodate the barrel jacks I own - mine need an 11mm hole. I also wanted an additional hole at 12mm for the switches I own (which I used as a on/off button). Bitluni generously includes the .blend source file, but I don't know Blender. I should learn it, but not today. I imported the main STL into Fusion 360 and converted it to a BREP. I went to enlarge the power hole but when I cut the larger hole over the existing, Fusion left me with a weird, jagged hole that was some larger hole and some original hole. Efforts to simplify the model, which usually work great, also didn't really work for this one. Not sure if it's an oddity with Blender STLs, the thinness of the wall, something else. Having PrusaSlicer "repair" the STL didn't help. I decided to redraw it. The cylinder was easy. I used a Fusion 360 "coil" to mark the slope (at 31mm pitch) for the LED strip. The walls of my model are slightly thicker, so I modeled a new Lid and Base. My Base has mounting holes to accomodate one piece of an ElectroCookie Prototype Board (see link below). If you don't want this, just print a second Lid instead of the Base. Print in the orientation provided. No supports necessary. *Parts I used* * [Neopixel Strip](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CDTECSG) * [DC jack](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FK6MMGH) * [On/Off Switch](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00T46QMJY) * [ElectroCookie Prototype Board](https://www.amazon.com/ElectroCookie-Snappable-Arduino-Electronics-Gold-Plated/dp/B07ZYTZ48N) * [Ping Ping-Like Balls](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07R5Q8ZM5) I used Hatchbox Copper PLA (I was out of black). Next time I'll go with black, a black LEED strip, and use a marker to cover the copper pads, text, etc. (as mentioned in the video by Bitluni).
