Ping Pong (Table Tennis) Ball Drilling Jig

Ping Pong (Table Tennis) Ball Drilling Jig

thingiverse

Jig for holding a Ping Pong / Table Tennis ball on your drill press while you drill a hole. Designed for projects that use ping pong balls as diffusers on WS2811 RGB LEDs. Doesn't really matter what settings you use to print it, and doesn't need to be very strong. I used 10% infill and 0.2mm "Speed" setting for my Prusa, but you could go bigger for the extrusion. The tabs on either side are to clamp it to your drill press bench. I used an 8mm drill bit and it worked perfectly. At most, some of the balls will have a tab of plastic hanging off the edge of the hole when the drill bit hasn't removed it properly, which you just trim off with a scalpel.
