Pipe Stem

Pipe Stem

thingiverse

Needed a replacement for a chewed-out pipe stem for a Gulden Dansk pipe obtained free with tobacco coupons back in the 1980s. Turned out to be fairly easy to do in 123D Design. This was my first try at using the Loft tool; credit and thanks to a tutorial at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWB8zvPZ1q0 Measured the outside of the original and put the measurements into a spreadsheet to keep track of them. Had to guess at the smoke passage, though (should have just sawed the old one in half, but I wanted to keep it in case the print didn't work!) The original stem had a stylized GD on it; I didn't work too hard to duplicate the font. Update: Removed a constriction in the smoke channel that made it hard to get a pipe cleaner through. Printed in black nylon on Creality CR10S Pro.
