after attempting several lost wax (pla) castings, i gave up and made a traditional split pattern set. basically. a manifold that is canted off at 30 (60?)degrees to the engines centre line, with a 26mm bore, to suit 28mm EFI throttle bodies (such as the R15 or the ecotrons) that will fit all honda cub based (clone) engines. lifan, ducar etc. it was for turbocharging and sent everything off nicely to stuff in an intercooler.. . has bosses that can be machined out for a MAP and an injector. specifically designed to spray fuel at the intake valve. works for carbs as well(like the PWK/oko 26mm), have to blank off the injector port. or break it off the core. that may not work as its a core support. could swear the core boxes should be different. cahnged them to stop em warping as they printed. after making a pair of timber frames, mixing some greensand and ramming up... (greensand for cope and drag, sodium silicate for the core) my first attempt was a success and is currently in operation... my first EVER attempt at doing a proper casting... i will make these for $35+shipping if you arent exactly keen on melting metals.... hassle me.
