Pivotable Photo Frame V1

Pivotable Photo Frame V1

A sleek design of a pivotable photo frame with 2 axes comes into being. It's a single print without assembly, but you'll need to pause the printing process to add all the parts together. Print it facing down and check your sliced preview model to see at which layer height it requires pausing. There are two layer heights for pausing: 1. Right before the space for the glass with photo starts to close in. 2. Right before the bolts and nut openings start to shut tight. File V1R1 uses a cylindrical bolt space, while file V1R2 uses a rectangular bolt space. I suggest using V1R2 if you don't want to spend too much time calculating your tolerances (shrinkage of your spool material). Measure your bolts and glass plate size carefully to make the proper adjustments to the dimensions before printing. Give your bolts and nut tight tolerances, but give your glass plate loose tolerances. CAUTION: The nozzle can bump against the bolts and glass if placed too early or still sticking out too much! This can cause layer positioning problems and even knock your bed or carriage out of place! Print at your own risk!
