Pixel Floodlight

Pixel Floodlight

thingiverse

This is a Pixel Floodlight that I will be using in my automated Christmas Light Display. It will be replacing a different design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2132971) in some of my locations. It is capable of holding 25 bullet pixels (12mm) but you could use whatever amount <= 25 that suits your purpose. I spray painted the inside of the shade/housing with silver paint and the outside with black paint. I don't know if the shade/housing with silver paint reflects any of the light but it looks cool! I have been mounting them under my eaves from mid November to early January but I may leave these up all year since they will fit in with my other pixels that are left up all year. The old ones have held up since 2017 and I have glued an adapter to some of the existing housings because they are still good and also because the housing takes about 4 hours to print. This is a remix of my other Flood Light because the pixel wiring would not allow the older style mounting pivot point. So I added the mount/pivot to the shade/housing. If you had printed one of the older designs (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2132971), I have provided an adapter mount that you can glue onto the old housing.
