I used the stl files from the parent. The only thing different is I used PLA and did NO smoothing. I had to make a derivative to add photos and commentary. I held it together with rubber bands. Instructions You can get chocolate anywhere candy making supplies are sold. Our local Hobby Lobby has it. Or you can go to Walmart, in the sugar isle and pick up a brick of "Plymouth Pantry" Almond Bark. 24 oz for $2.88 today. As you can see, 20 minutes in the freezer wasn't enough. On the bright side, the part that got hard was exellent. Good definition and detail. I washed the PLA mold in warm water and reloaded it. I'll wait over night to open it this time. The PLA seems to be up to the task. I had no softening or warping. We (my wife and I) (She is the candy maker) melted the chocolate in a double boiler, so I doubt the chocolate was hotter than 212 degrees F. I'll add more photos when it is solid. UPDATE The last 4 photos are the second try. The mold sat in the freezer overnight. The freezer isn't necessary, it just speeds the hardening. I thought I had the mold full, but I didn't. Shaking and tapping on a hard surface will usually result in a complete fill, if your chocolate is hot enough.
