Plaga Paddle Board

Plaga Paddle Board

This is a work in progress. The name Plaga, comes from the Latin word for quarter, since this paddle board can be split up into four pieces. Two foot long rods will hold each section together, but I'm still thinking of the best way to secure them to maximize rigidity. The core of each section will likely have a honey comb structure to reduce weight while retaining strength. The size is roughly 120" x 35" Update: So I've decided to use a quick release method similar to what is used for bicycle wheels. This would make for easy (dis)assembly and the paddle board will still be rigid enough for regular use.
