Plague Doctor Staff Topper - Halloween Costume Accessory

(Read entire description for complete info!) The plague doctor staff was used by the plague doctors to move clothing aside, inspect wounds and keep plague infected patients away. This topper is based on a famous depiction, and the winged hourglass represents the idea of fleeing time. Tempus fugit! Plague doctor staff top scaled for 1.5 in wooden dowel (or similar). Designed for costume. V2 of the original model which was too weak in the center and easily snapped. I'd like to add more detail but Halloween is near and I still need to print, fit and paint the final version! Designed to fit Replicator 2 print volume when printed at 100% scale. Raft + support currently (obviously!) required due to wings. Possibly the model could be split into pieces and not require support, but that might come later. See instructions! As printed using the second settings (the better result), the wings are predictably weak at the thinnest point. I learned this the hard way + krazy glue. With the second indicated settings, the model fit snugly on a 1.5in dowel. Sanding and smoothing helps the fit, especially with support being used. First print was: ReplicatorG Replicator 2 15% infill .27mm layer height 2 shells Replicator 2 defaults. Snapped due to poor model design and not enough support for the hourglass.
