The fan module add-on for the Brabeast, based on Theo Jansen's Strandbeest, utilizes a clip-together system that's 3D printer friendly. It features a sun gear driving planetary gears and a split annulus gear for an 86.4:1 reduction. Printing requires PLATE_PLANETARY_FAN_MODULE.stl, while separate stls are available for full Bill of Materials. Assembly follows BRABEAST FAN MODULE.stl instructions, replacing the original crank shaft adaptor with the one included. Note that this is an advanced build with numerous moving parts; it may require adjustments due to printer calibration. Enjoy building this unique model!
