Planetary Hub / Spacer for RC Monster Truck Wheel

These are hubs that I created to "Look" more like the planetary hubs of the old school Monster Trucks. They are designed so that you attach the hub to the axle and then attach the wheel to the hub and secure with six locknuts. These are currently scaled at about 1/6. The secondary purpose of these were to act a widener. I made this with a 17mm hex on the back to fit on my Kyosho Mad Force axles (should fit most 17mm hex axles). The screws needed for this hub at this scale are M4x65mm, six per hub. They are a tight fit and you have to drive them in with a drill driver. I acquired all the hardware from McMaster-Carr. These hubs were made to work with the Monster Truck Wheels that I remixed (will upload on a separate link) from the amazing wheels made by Thingiverse member tahustvedt which also fit the awesome tires that he made. Right now they are scaled to fit the wheels with TIRES printed at 10 inches diameter. I printed these solid except the for the planetary caps which you can use low infill since they are decorative. The planetary caps merely pressure fit into the center of the hub after you tighten your axle nut.
