Plant Cell Model

This is a model of a plant cell i made with all the basic parts of a plant cell. I made it with 123d Design by Autodesk Custom Section Objectives From this project a student would learn the parts of a cell. Using this is much different than just looking at a picture. People learn better when they interact with the topic they are learning about. Custom Section Audiences The age group for this project would be for grades 5-12. This could be used in any kind of science class including biology, science, and life sciences. Custom Section Preparation In order to use this resource, the students would need to know what cells are but would not need to know the parts. This project would be used to learn the parts by interacting with the parts. Custom Section Steps! To create this, students would have to print each individual part of the cell. They would then put each part of the cell into the cell. Custom Section Results After the students interact with the cell, I would tell them a name of a part of the cell and put it in the cell. If they got it right they would receive 5 points. Every time they try and get it wrong the point value goes down.
