Hack: re-purpose IKEA Bygel container as a planter, add plant support that clips securely on the container lip. The support comes in 2 parts, the base (clips on) and the arm that supports the plant. Both parts are linked with my favourite green material-of-abundance - the disposable bamboo chopstick. 1 Aug 2016: Holder version 2 (open ring) added.
