The model shown here was generated using an iPhone 5 and the 123D-Catch app (apologies for the noisy image, I had trouble exporting a cleaner version from MeshLab). This plaster cast was made in the 19th c. from an Archaic-style Greek kouros, which was a grave monument in Tenea. It is part of the Battle Cast Collection, housed at the Blanton Art Museum at UT Austin. The original, made of marble, is on display in Munich, Germany. For a neat reconstruction of the paint colors detected on the original marble surface, see http://www.stiftung-archaeologie.de/Kouros_from_Tenea_fullsize.html
