Plate Guide Factory
thingiverse
Plate guide mechanism to insert a sheet of material vertically between guides, for example as a subdivision in a container. Usually one plate needs four of the "plate guide" parts. However, if there is no space for a plate guide because the plate is inserted very close to another vertical wall, you would use two "plate spacer" parts and two "plate guide" parts. This is a fully parametric design, so you can also adapt all measures of the design easily to fit your needs. For that, open the source code in CadQuery (links below), adapt the measures, generate your own adapted STLs, and print those. The CAD model was made using [CadQuery](https://cadquery.readthedocs.io/), an open source CAD software similar to OpenSCAD (but much more powerful). The latest version of this design's source code can always be found in [a Github repository](https://github.com/tanius/smallopticalsorter/tree/master/mechanics).
