This is a remixed version of thing:268090 "Playable Ukulele - Printable w/ no Supports by Solstie" Since Solstie's ukulele obviously works very well, I kept the main shape and features while adding the option to have a replacable fretboard with fret markers, a separate saddle and to use common friction tuners. I wanted the ukulele to have a (PLA) wood body and a black fretboard and saddle, which I may exchange for carbon filled PETG later on. For improved playability the neck and fretboard may be printed at 0.1mm layer height, while the body may be printed at 0.2mm layer height for faster printing. Thanks again to Solstie for the really great and nice sounding design! Update 2020-10-03: The neck definitely needs some fixation to the body. Still trying to avoid glue, I went for a single countersunk wood screw in the back of the body. I may add this bore to the design later. I also lowered the saddle by 1.5 mm because the top of the neck got bent a bit by the string tension, resulting in a high action. with the lower saddle the intonation is quite OK. Since the friction tuners that I mounted need more support in the back of the headstock, I printed 4 bushings to take up the space and allow for more tuning stability there. With geared tuners these should not be needed.
