Playing Card Display Shelf

Playing Card Display Shelf

thingiverse

I am an amateur cardist. I have been collecting decks of cards for a few years now. I want to display some of my decks on the wall, so I designed this shelf. It can stand alone, but I recommend hanging it on a wall. It is an easy print, no special settings required. This is my first original Thing to publish. I hope you enjoy! ***UPDATE*** I reworked the side pieces for a better fit. This printed just fine on my CR-10..However, after doing some work on it, I realized that I needed to change the tolerances for a better fit. I just finished printing a complete rack from these files and they fit like a glove! ***UPDATE*** 03/07/2010 I have changed the files a bid. I made the shelf a little smaller (decrease print time by 1/3) and adjusted the sides to fit the new shelf. I have also added some hooks. Wall hook is for mounting one shelf to the wall, shelf hook is used to hang one shelf under another without adding more holes to the wall. I hang my in columns of 3. I recommend printing the hooks with a stronger filament, I use carbon fiber pla. I also added a file called "short sides". Use this file if you would like to print a single row shelf of your cards. I will hold 4 decks nicely. I hope you enjoy this project. Feed back and questions are always welcome. I don't get on here often, so you an email me at cprouty70@gmail.com. Thanks again, and enjoy.
