Playseat Challenge wheel brace

A printable brace/arm to almost eliminate flex of the wheel setup in a playseat challenge. I came across [this](https://youtu.be/jseLv8ejsVo) video, where someone used a camera clamp and a monopod of some sort to brace the plate to the frame. After trying to find equivalent equipment, and failing, I decided to try and design a 3D printable part that would work. -------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE: Version 2 is now here! So, I went through the 10 realistic wheel plate positions for the playseat challenge, and did my best to measure what length and angle each one would need to work. I incorporated that into a dynamic FreeCAD model, where you just have to enter which position you have your wheel plate in, and the model updates. So now, there are 10 options. I have uploaded all 10 variants as STL. In order to see which one you need, adjust your wheel as you would like it to be, and then look how many empty "notches" are visible above the red interface part. If it is 0, you need the model with 0 at the end. If it is 5, you need the one with file with 5 at the end, etc. Pictures are attached as examples of position 0, 3 and 10. As previously written, you should then pivot your wheel down an additional 1-2 notches, mount the brace and then forcibly flex the wheel plate assembly until you can rest it on the brace. This preloads the system, which stabilizes it. It is recommended to add some rubber material to the wheel plate where the brace sits, to prevent it from slipping, especially the further you diverge from the center angles (notch 4-6). Bear in mind that this part will probably only work if the wheel plate is mounted in the two positions that put it closest to the driver, because it needs to reach the point where the brace is mounted. If your wheel plate is overhanging the frame away from you, I don't have a solution yet. This also clicks on from the side instead of from the top. This hopes to give some more stability to keep it from popping off if it's not loaded straight down. ------------------------------------------------------------- v1 This is version 1. It snaps on over the plastic part on the playseat, and then you have to tighten the wheel plate one or two 'clicks' lower than what you need, and then 'preload' the system by forcing the wheel plate up to be supported by the arm/brace. It might not be compatible with how your wheel is mounted. On my playseat, I've moved the wheel plate closest to the driver. If it's further away, the brace might not be able to support the plate. ------------------------------------------------------------- [Reddit thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/simracing/comments/ff0e54/i_designed_and_3d_printed_a_brace_for_the/)
