Hello Guys!

This is my version of a Logo for my Playstation 5 as a light with a stand.

The original design was created by Christopher Quinalty: https://www.thingiverse.com/cq842000/designs

I tried printing his design of his Sony Play Bust with an Elegoo Mars 2 Pro. After the 3rd attempt i gave up on it.

I had to scale it down a little bit but still couldn't get a good result based on the hollow design. The walls ended up being only 0.4mm thick. Therefore, if you touch it a little too rought it will break, as it did for me.

So, I decided to re-design it a bit.
After I finished the Logo I was like yea, why not making it shine even more!

I bought a 30 LED/1m 5V with remote LED-strip for 10$ on Amazon and designed a socket with Playstation on the front.
(For Xbox don't worry, I've uploaded a clean socket as well for you guys!)

With the 30 LED/1m you can fit up to 10 LED's around the socket as you can see down below in this post.

I fixed the strip inside and the cable which goes out of the socket with some hot glue. You know, just in case.
After glueing everything together, I coated it with some clear varnish.

I hope you enjoy it and please support the original designer as well!

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Creality

Printer:

Ender 3

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.16

Infill:

20

Filament:
[

](http://www.amazon.com/s?url=search-alias&field-keywords=Fillamentum+PLA&tag=thingiverse09-20)[ Fillamentum](https://www.amazon.com/s?k=Fillamentum&linkCode=ll2&tag=thingiverse09-20&linkId=a286e458f4bb9ea9ae9013a786f54327&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl) PLA Vertigo Grey

Notes:

The Logo was printed with a transparent blue on a Elegoo mars 2 Pro SLA Printer with 100% infill.

Post-Printing

This is the logo without clear varnish. You will notice, that with the coating it gets much cleaner. SLA is just awesome!

Assembly

The Logo should fit quite nicely into the socket. Just put some Glue on it if you like.
Enjoy!

Category: 3D Printing
