The Plumbata is a short spear for throwing with a length of 50 to 70 cm which was used in ancient times. The plumbata consisted of a wooden shaft on which a barbed iron spike was attached. To increase the impact, a lead weight is attached in the middle. To stabilize the flight, wooden or leather wings were attached to the rear end. The 3D model shows the front part of the plumbata.
