This is a plywood table for a mini metal latheThe initial idea for this wooden lathe table comes from a computer workstation designed by Windell Oskay. http://www.evilmadscientist.com/2012/cnc-workstation/I liked the joinery method used by Windell. I reinforced the table with timber plates and a panel on the middle part. I also reinforced the structure with triangular plywood.I still don't know what to do in the center,.. I will probably add drawers. Jan Chromec mini lathe is displayed in one render just as an example. I am using the table with a Sanches Blanes Lathe (which is very similar to the South Bend 9-inch lathe).Thanks to the Fab Lab at Unviersity of Chile (Fab851) for providing the tools (http://www.fablab.uchile.cl/).
