In this concept, there are 20 actuators. Firstly, bottles come from the linear conveyor to front of the filling and metering unit. Bottles must be lined up properly. Because, filling nozzle must get position according to the center of the bottle to fill suitable. So, direction control is helping bottles to get correct position. But we can change direction control with the flexible conveyor holder apparatus. When the bottles reached the filling and metering unit, the stopper actuators would stop the bottles and One actuator keeps bottles during the period of filling of the bottles with the aid of ball bushings. Ball bushings are used to provide linear extension and retraction by decreasing friction. Conveyor is never stopped. Because, in mass production we do not want any stopping operation. It will cause time consuming and affects the cost drastically. Also there are 8 actuators in filling and metering system. 4 of them take water from tank and transmit into the cylinder by doing retractıon movement of the actuator. When we change direction of the valve in metering unit, water goes on into the bottle and filling operation is completed. Also we adjust the metering system according to the size of the bottle by using screw behind of theactuator. After filling operation would be completed. Stoppers and holder let the bottles move on through cap placement unit. There is a stopper actuator to stop bottles. After stopped the bottles, cap placement actuator would be extended, puts the cap on the bottle properly. Lastly, bottles come to the cap tightening unit. Stopper actuator stops the bottle and bottle holder grips the bottles to prevent rotation motion of the bottles while gripper and rack and pinion turns the caps. When all conditions are suitable, cap tightening actuator would be extended then gripper holds the cap and then rack and pinion turned the gripper properly to tight cap. At the end of this operation, all processes are done. This system provides most of the design requirements and customer demands.
