The opener on our pocket door in our bathroom is meant to be low profile, so that it fits into the pocket in the wall, but that causes it to be a very small opener. Due to its size, it can be quite awkward and hard on the fingers to lock/unlock the door, especially for my wife and 5 year old. To alleviate that I created this "key", which just grips the existing opener, but has a much nicer handle.

Included the stil, gcode and design file from Fusion 360. This is my first project using F360, so it probably isn't pretty, efficient or well put together, but it works.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Wanhao

Printer:

Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Infill:

100%

Notes:

Printed at 0.24 layer height for speed, but a bit finer layer height would make it nicer too look at. 100% infill, as the first model broke with only 25% infill, and 100% only increased print time by 15 or so minutes.

Category: Household
